Digitexx was recently featured in a special news story entitled, "How Strong are the Foundations of Buildings in Skopje?" on ALFA TV Macedonia.
In cooperation with the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Faculty of Civil Engineering, Digitexx has been providing systems and expertise in building structural monitoring. Together with the University, buildings in the Balkan region have been instrumented with Digitexx accelerometers and our PDAQ-Premium for temporary monitoring to produce Ambient Vibration Reports. The Faculty of Civil Engineering produced these reports using the real-time data provided by the Digitexx system to report on the structural integrity status of the building. With recent higher magnitude earthquake activity, this region has been concerned about the structural integrity of recently retrofitted older buildings as well as construction quality of the newer buildings. The Ambient Vibration testing services have provided a method to determine structural integrity for earthquake preparedness of buildings.
